More Customers?

Hi gang, sorry it’s another half-page today.

As for the twice a week posting, it looks like not even that is gonna be possible for a while. :( I’ve been a little overwhelmed with work lately, especially this week. Please bear with me.

I received a lot of very positive and encouraging responses last week to my question regarding format (and what I suspect is really just a fear of burnout). Thank you guys for taking the time to share your insights, especially with some of the longer responses! Each of them deserves a response in return, so I’ll be posting one as soon as I can in the comments section for that post.

Thanks everyone!

Heheh, very nice. I love the last two panels.

I’m looking forward to next week and Mari’s reaction to the two villains.

The flow works well enough from the previous week when lined up, which is good [save for a little framing issue that I have with the fishing rod but whatever]. Panel 1 of this strip gives the illusion that Mari is hovering and I don’t know if that’s just me…I seemed to fix it by putting my hand overtop of the ladder in the foreground. Then again, maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me due to lack of sleep.

Oops, you’re right. I forgot to put their cast shadows on the floorboards, as well as a heavier foreground shadow on the ladder. I’ll get it when I’m back home.

i don’t think anybody asked you regarding the last post — is ‘topo’ short for ‘topographical map?’

Don’t ever be sorry for putting up great artwork. :)
