Big Help
Not bad for his first and only day on the job, huh? He’s not just another pretty face, ya know.
Hopefully, most of you read the news last week that the comic is now updating twice a week. If you haven’t and today’s page comes as a pleasant surprise, then lucky you!

And in case you’re wondering, yes, there is a Lentil Festival. Each year I tell my pal Ani that I’m gonna visit her hometown to see it, but something always comes up. Max has me convinced I can’t miss another year.

My wife doesn’t really read comics, but today she called to me “Hey, I clicked an advertisement on your site and found this beautiful comic–have you ever read One Swoop Fell?”
If my wife starts reading your comic instead of mine I’m going to be pretty peeved!

Haha Tony! I wouldn’t worry too much. But just as a safeguard, I better finish up that thing I promised you.
Jeremy - From what my friend has told me, it sounds like good ol’ fashioned fun. There’s even lentil beer. The idea and name of it though just seemed so odd and unexpected that I had to use it!
Maile - My job is done.
Argent - I think that’s me and my wife’s favorite Disney 2D feature. Max definitely has a little bit of Kronk in him. The ‘aw shucks villain’.

speearr - unexpected for me as well. I definitely went through a “what to do with the rest of this page” phase. Then one of those weird moments happened, where the character actually starts telling you what he or she should be doing.

o_o I was wondering how I suddenly got behind in the pages and then saw the update. Interesting, I like the fact you’re picking up the pace Mike; it doesn’t seem to hinder the look or quality of the comics either so keep it up! I absolutely love how popular this comic is getting, you deserve it.

You find me an artist who isn’t slightly insane and I’ll eat my sock-hat. I’m sure you’ll do magnificently, and at worst it’s just back to the same-old, same-old anyways.
