Humiliating
Sorry this is coming in a day late guys… I’m beginning to wonder if twice a week was such a good idea after all (actually, I was temporarily out of my mind when I made the decision), but I’m going to stick it out anyhow. Next week will be a toughie, since I’ll be going down to Comic-Con (read the blog post for info!)… but I’m gonna be sure to stay on top for one really good reason:
This coming week is One Swoop Fell’s FIRST BIRTHDAY! I’m very excited. I’ll have something extra special on the day of as well.

I just had to laugh out loud at the pigeon assistance. My oldest friend did a series of pigeon paintings for an art class in college, so we have a weird sort of affection for the birds.

This is humiliatingly awesome.
Straining-Swoop is adorable, and Pigeon face + Swoop + Prof. Puff and his fish mustache is a combination worthy of the greatest of totem poles.

Swoop inspires immediate unswerving loyalty in whomever he meets. It makes me wonder why Professor Puff despises him so. Can’t wait to see the historical flashback.

*smiles and sniggers* at the mental image of Prof saying “This is humiliating” in a resigned sort of way. I mean seriously, after being rescued by your mortal enemy, then rescued further by a flying rat (albeit a lovely flying rat) if you were the Prof, wouldn’t you be tempted to just give up and go with the flow lol.

Mary, I think some possibilities as to why Puff loathes Swoop may already be evident, but they will be revealed even more in the future, just as you’ve predicted.

Dude, if you feel like you need to scale back, then just do it straightaway. It’s better to build a buffer than to overwork yourself. I know of too many cartoonists who upped their update frequency in a moment of inspired madness (lol) and then quickly burned out when reality hit. I do not want that to happen to One Swoop Fell….
That being said….. that is one humiliated gold fish!

I think you SHOULD rename it to “Flying Totem Pole”, actually. The current title gives away the punchline.
