I actually laughed while drawing the bull pigeon in the center left panel… a sign that I’m doing something right, or that I’ve been at it too long.

Ha, I love that panel. I agree it’s a sign you’re doing something right (and that yes, you have been at it too long - but that’s another issue). I think I’m having the most fun when I’m chuckling at one of my drawings. Great work as usual.

I love the pigeon rumble!

My favourite actually wasn’t the bull pigeon, but the “main” pigeon’s reaction to him in that panel.

love it.

This one is most assuredly a crack up! My favorite pigion antics are their reactions in panels 5 and 6.

Making yourself laugh is a great reward, knowing that others will share in that reward is even better! =^^=
And remember: Blowfish with attitudes are the most toxic!

Haha! Great comic. I like the 2nd and 1st to last panel, the reaction of the pigeons is great!

I wouldn’t mind panel 3 blown up and next to my window…. it would mirror the actual pigeons outside my 5th story window.

Thanks guys! This was a pretty fun page to do. Just a head’s up to anyone thinking this, but too nice to say anything, I’ll probably switch the order of the last two pages when Friday’s page goes up. It seems a little confusing to go from Puff’s plight, to Topo and the flare gun, then back to Puff. I put “seconds earlier” because in real time the flare would have been heard and/or seen by Puff and the pigeons almost instantly…. dunno if this problem makes any sense to you guys… if anything, it’s a brief look into my fragile and frazzled little mind.

I agree with you there Mike. I love the expressions and figures on this page, they’re all vibrant and feel like they’re in motion. Even the eye movement from 5 to 6 stands out perfectly and every face that the Prof pulls is priceless.
