The title suggests I’m on vacation, but actually, I’m taking this week off to wrap up another book project deadline. But rather than leave you empty-handed, I thought I’d show this watercolor. I’m putting it in the comic section rather than the blog because it feels somewhat related to that much needed moment Topo mentioned last week about hangin’ out with his pal, Swoop.

… I also wanted to plug my custom original artwork services.  :)  I’ve been in a bit of a pinch trying to get more Swoop-related swag out to you guys (I’m looking at T-shirts and buttons, but the supplies/investment required is a bit overwhelming at the moment). So right now, the best way you can support the comic - besides reading, smiling, and telling a friend about it - is asking me to do a custom one-of-a-kind sketch for you or a loved one!  For instance, this particular painting was a birthday present to Larry, a long-time fan who also bought some artwork last year (Thanks, Wade, for commissioning this piece!). Larry loves his painting, right Larry? I’m hoping to put a large chunk of the earnings from commissions back into the comic, so not only will you get original one-of-a-kind artwork, you’ll also have the satisfaction of knowing that somewhere down the line, somebody can proudly wear a Professa Puff pin on their backpack thanks to your support!
