Hi JG, thanks so much for the blurb over at your comic. I’m enjoying reading yours as well, and am happy to have a good three years worth of material to catch up on. Wish I could offer the same volume, but like you said, I’ve been hiding for quite some time.
Gotta’ agree with JG. I love your art. Fleen pointed me over here and I’m disappointed! I thought I’d have hours of backlogged comics to browse through. It’s okay, though. You’ve RSS. :3
I love your colors! You mentioned experimenting with styles as you continue and I really look forward to watching that; based on what you’ve done so far I’d trust whatever you try.
Thanks Zachary, and well, I’m disappointed too. If I had the capacity to put out several pages a week, I’d do it!
Hi Jason, there’s definitely a little experimenting going on already - though I make an effort to stick to the overall look. But for example, sometimes the clouds are drawn a bit more stylized versus a natural look. I’m also playing with panel layouts. I’ve been reading a lot of commentary by Bill Watterson on old Calvin and Hobbes strips, and he was really a master at it. I’m pretty sure I’ll try some bolder things in the future though, just so long as it pushes the storytelling. Thanks for the comment.

Absolutely fantastic.
Where have you been hiding, Mr. Dutton? Well, your secret is out now and here’s at least one reader who will begin to spread the good word.
