I truly admire the way this comic has unfolded; I’m fascinated at the combination of subtlety and complete character development. I have no idea how it is possible, considering I’ve always attributed my affection for a character on mostly dialogue, never neglecting the artist’s penciling/inking/organizational skills (biased by what pleases my own eyes, of course) but not putting so much weight on it. At the risk of not making any sense, I’d like to say you’ve managed to combine the very same things I’ve admired in comics over the years and made it into a piece worthy of full blown anxiety. Being an artist myself I have the unfortunate grounds to be more critical on art reviews, thus it becomes harder to indulge in someone else’s work compared to the individual who draws bad stick figures, but what you’ve got here is nothing short of a masterpiece –able to capture because of its pureness, use of imagination and innocence, concrete and realistic dialogue, and of course, incredible art. I’m really glad I found “One Swoop Fell”, Mike.
Watanabex - What’s funny was me making the pit pit sounds out loud as I wrote them in. hehe.
Meg - Thanks Meg! I’ll do my best.
Jhon - Thanks so much for the very kind words. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me going, or at the very least, tells me I’m doing something right. At the same time, I’m even more terrified of screwing up! But seriously, thank you.

No beautiful vistas? No detailed illustrations of Topo’s dwelling? I guess this will have to do…

Nicely done. Right to the point. You showed what is basically a physical gag well in a still format.

… lovely work… nice referencing of comics, old school animation and the best of childhood imagery (and archetypes)…
… ‘Swoop’ and the ‘Abominable Charles’ really give a fizz to my artistic energies each week - thank you very much

The Title made me laugh as much as the comic did.
