After I wrote that blogpost about you being a great storyteller I have to say you did it again. The panel where Topo says “I do tend to look down when I’m walking” is an important aspect of his character yet it’s also the smallest panel which gives it a claustrophobic feeling like he’s being choked up admitting it. His statement is then offset by a sight gag a panel later where he speaks in smaller font as if he’s trying to make excuses to Mari’s accusation.

o_o Yikes, that WAS a close one. Hopefully that means that your other project is working out. Regardless, this page is great. The only ‘mistake’ I’d call is the fact that Topo and Swoop look kinda squished in their panels on the bottom so it’s kinda awkward to look at, and I don’t think that trees are usually pink when the sun is high in the sky [but you can chalk that one up to dream logic]. Other than that nice rush! Again, awesome transition from the previous page.
